What is Wii Fit?
Wii Fit is the latest innovative accessory for the Nintendo Wii. Following on from the same technology used in the regular Wii controlers, comes a revolutionary new idea in the form of a Wii Balance Board which works wirelesly with your Nintendo Wii system. So whats so special about the Wii Balance Board? Well it has been designed, along with the new Wii Fit to provide you with over 40 activities in 4 main categories of sports and fitness games. Not only is the new Wii Fit good fun, but it's also a great way to keep in shape. Activites range from Yoga to press-up challenges, and every activity you do is recorded along with your BMI, height, weight, etc. You can view your progress over a period of time and see how much you are improving in fitness. What a great way to enjoy getting and keeping yourself fit!
So how does Wii Fit work?
The specificaly designed Wii Balance Board works by sensing both weight and shift in balance and in any direction, to know exactly what you are doing and which direction you are moving. The Wii Balance Board is wirless and communicates with your Nintendo Wii effortlessly, with almost no setting up. just get the board out, switch it on and your ready to exercise. The Wii Balance Board has been designed specialy for Wii Fit and is very simple to use.
The software will need setting up initialy, but this is to find out certain information about each user. It can have 8 users at any one time, and it will store BMI, weight, height, balance and more and give you a Wii age. The aim it to lower the age by progressing through each activity, improving over time. Whilst getting fit at the same time.
